12 reasons why a Warrior(PA-28) is better than a man

The reasons why a Warrior is better than a man are because ...

...It doesn't expect you to be nice to it's mum

...or expect you to like it's sister

...Doesn't piss you off because it's checking out other warriors

...pretend that the 'fart' that it did came out louder than what it expected

...Doesn't leave toe-nail clippings on the bathroom floor

...It listens to what you say to it

...Doesn't sulk if you tell it off

...Doesn't have 'issues' if you don't polish it's ego enough

...Doesn't think that you're a threat to it's masculinity just because you
fly

...Doesn't patronise you by saying 'well it's just because you're just not
technically minded'

and finally...

...can keep going for at least 4 hours
...and always gives a fun ride :D

Just couldn't resist :}

Why aeroplanes are better than women

Airplane skin doesn't wrinkle as badly.

Airplanes don't take forever to warm up.

Airplanes like to do it inverted.

It's easier to get 'trim' in an airplane.

You can keep an airplane from stalling.

Airplanes can be turned on by a flick of a switch.

An airplane won't slap you for being a 'bush pilot.'

You don't always have to be on top to ride an airplane.

An airplane doesn't ask you to put on a raincoat before entry.

You can easily leave an airplane before sunrise.

Airplane exhaust fumes smell better.

Airplanes lose weight faster.

An airplane does not get mad if you 'touch and go.'

An airplane's performance is seldom hindered by weather.

An airplane's cockpit is cleaner.

You can calculate the peak performance of an airplane.

An Airplane is easy to roll over.

You can still activate a fifty year old airplane.

Up to five people can ride in the cockpit of an airplane.

Airplane's last longer.

Airplane's don't droop after many years.

You can always tell when an airplane is going to give out.

An airplane moves when you tell it to.

An airplane will kill you quick . . . a woman takes her time.

An airplane does not object to a preflight inspection.

An airplane will let you use your dip stick anytime you want.

You can change the looks of an airplane.

Airplanes come with manuals.

A 747 can keep you up for 14 hours.

Airplanes have strict weight and balance limits.

When you put fuel into an airplane, it does not spit it out.

Airplanes don't get pregnant.

You can fly a airplane any time of the month.

Airplanes don't have parents.

Airplanes don't whine unless something is really wrong.

You can share your airplanes with your friends.

If your airplane makes too much noise, you can buy a muffler.

If your airplane smokes, you can do something about it.

Airplanes don't care about how many other airplanes you have flown.

When flying, you and your airplane both arrive at the same time.

Airplanes don't mind if you look at other airplane's, or if you buy airplane magazines.

If your airplane is too loose, you can tighten it.

You don't have to be jealous of the guy that works on your airplane.

You don't have to deal with blood-tests to register your airplane.

You don't have to convince your airplane that you're a pilot and that you think that all airplanes are equals.

If you say bad things to your airplane, you don't have to say your sorry before you can fly it again.

You can fly an airplane as long as you want and it won't get sore.

Your parents don't remain in touch with your old airplane after you dump it.

Airplanes always feel like going for a ride.

Airplanes don't insult you if you are a bad pilot.

It's always OK to use tie downs on your airplane.

Your airplane never wants a night out alone with the other airplanes.

Airplanes don't care if you are late.

You don't have to take a shower before flying your airplane

Open Cirrus: Ooooh ... that's a bit quick for such a long 'diss' ... where did you copy that from?!

You seen a B-52 recently? :ok:

KandiFloss 27th Jan 2010 11:49

Not at all! Always up for a challenge ... wouldn't have started the thread if I couldn't handle what was going to be thrown back :ouch:

PS.From your thread 1,11,21,35, 46, 50 also apply to men!

destinationsky 27th Jan 2010 12:02

How about a man in a PA28?!

KandiFloss 27th Jan 2010 12:40

Well better that than in a C-152 :}

Don't know about that, both can use up a few dollars if they need a "top-end" overhaul !

The first is exactly why they are better than men.

And if airplanes could get pregnant and have little airplanes, wouldn't that save a lot of money buying new ones?

PS bet this thread ends up in JB.

Jealousy will get you nowhere PC. A C152 beats a PA28 into a cocked hat any day - for a start it doesn't fly like a brick which needs to go on a diet should you need to land without a working engine. :p

Ah but in that situation you are better off trading the old one in for a newer, younger model which doesn't require all of that remedial work....;)

I'd liken a PA28 to my favourite sort of women...... easy.......

I prefer the CAP 232. Much better performance, very agile, cute, french and tight.

Knowing your luck, you'd end up with the 'Heather Mills' Cap 231 - bits of it made of wood that should ideally would be carbon-based - but still having phenomenally high maintenance costs.

Now, has anybody seen my coat? Oh - there it is......

Jealousy? That's a bit like comparing a Mk 2 Ford Cortina to a Morris Marina! :p

A slight digression, but I've seen someone take the 'Pepsi-challenge on the flying verses women question, with a straightforward result.

I recently took a chap (who is dating a very well-known and lovely actress) for first ever flight in a light aircraft, my Arrow III. We blasted through a low cloud layer and then tooled around for an hour or so before dropping back down through the cloud to return to the field.

Sitting in the bar afterwards, for some reason I compared the after-glow of a flight to the aftermath of sex.

"Oh no," he said without the merest trace of a smile "that's far, far better than sex."

I merely nodded silently as to say anything at that point would have been wrong - but I've never been able to look at said actress in the same way.
;)

KandiFloss 30th Jan 2010 09:40

"that's far, far better than sex."

Well he got that right! At least the plane goes when you want it to and doesn't make up excuses as to why it can't fly :=
