Free landing fees for fuel uplift

I guess not a major consideration but more a decider for planning out longer XC's - does anyone know of airfields providing free landing fees when fuel is uplifted?

Don't know any free landing fees (other than those offered in magazines), but the best value is, I think Guernsey; uplift more than, I think, 40 ltr and the landing fee is £10 and if you're an AOPA member you get a further £0.05 off the price/ltr.

A couple of weeks ago the cost was £0.93 after that discount.

Peterborough Conington, if you uplift more than 50 ltr's I believe.

Put Turweston on your list 60L = Free landing :ok:

Sherburn did a couple of years ago - not so sure now so worth checking

Nottingham gave me a F.O.C. landing the other day after I took fuel.

Lamb uplift

From the Headcorn Aerodrome website:

If 40 or more litres of fuel are uplifted the landing fee will be halved. All major credit cards are accepted.Locally bred lamb can be purchased from ATC for £45.00 for half a frozen packed lamb. If purchased the landing fee is free.

Blackbushe do a deal if fuel uplifted.

I'm strangely tempted, despite it costing over £100 each way to get there :ugh:

33-45% discount (depending on type/weight) when you uplift at Gloucester.

No charge for landing at Bagby last time I went, uplifted 100+ litres as fuel was cheap (relatively of course).
