Does Oban have good food?

According to my VFR flight guide there are "light refreshments" available at Oban however I was wondering if there was anywhere nice to eat either on the airport on within walking distance (I imagine the town itself has some nice places?).

Anyone have any recommendations?

Oban is a few miles from the airfield but the Lochnell Arms is just a ten minute stroll towards the bridge. Despite some disparaging remarks on this forum some time ago I've always found it to be excellent.
There are a couple more eateries over the bridge in Connel.
The light refreshments referred to is probably the snack machine in the terminal.
DO.

Nothing at all at Oban itself (other than Jammy Dodgers of course).

In addition to DO's comments, if you are prepared to walk a wee bit further then there are a few restaurants and hotels in South Connel.

The Glue Pot & Oyster Inn get my vote. Alternatively take the short hop across to Glenforsa ?

I agree with DO , the Lochnell Arms has been very good on both occasions that I have visited
