New NPPL revalidation requirements

The Transition Period for pre-Feb 2008 NPPL holders to revalidate to the revised ANO 2008 requirements extended from 1 Feb 2008 – 30 June 2009.

If you are a NPPL holder who has not yet changed over to the new revalidation method, you must do so before 30 June 2009 or your licence will no longer be valid.

Please see AIC 30/2008 (White 146), in particular paras 5.3 and 6. Further guidance can also be obtained at http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/175/AN%20A...%2000%2000.pdf .

The process of changing to the new scheme has intentionally been designed to be a ‘paperwork exercise’ and should not involve any additional charges if the guidance is followed correctly.

Done the flight bit with an Instructor..can anyone point me to a NPPL examiner who can sign the paperwork, in the South Wales area?
Cheers

What would one have to do to revalidate the NPPL IF one couldn't get it done by the due date? (Mine is not current anyhow, at present, due to hours. that's happened before and I revalidated with an examiner.)

Thanks

Keith Bennett: Swansea Sport Flying or the school at Haverfordwest will have his contact. Gwyndaf at HW is also an examiner.

You would need to renew by flying a Skill Test with an Examiner.

Basically it's the same as the GST.
