DA40

Hi there,was just wondering where can I find a detailed description of the DA40's airframe.....would like to know things such as where is the VOR or ADF receiver located on the aircraft....Have been pouring through the web searching for it but everything leads to a dead end.....

Thanks.....

I haven't flown the DA40 in a while but if I'm not wrong, the 3 small "bulbs" near the top of the canopy are for the GPS, and the one sticking out the back is for the ADF.

The VHF antennas are on the bottom

I might not be right, but ask your seniors :}

By the way, are you MAHA or APAC?

Here's a link to Diamond's website on which are all the technical manuals, POH etc for the Lycoming powered DA40-180. Might be of use to you.
