Out for my run this afternoon (Thurs 18th) and happened to see and hear the Blades in their new Barclay's paint scheme and then they had a big friend join them in formation.........anybody else see it??? Pretty awesome.;)

Was it a Halifax?

Bigger, noisier and four jets not props..............not too crypyic!!!

was it an Audi RS6?

Triangle shape, maybe ?

Imagine the Vulcan in Barclays Blue scheme.......:p

Prize???? You get the Vulcan all to yourself in the hangar with lashings of Barclay's Bank blue paint and a big brush :}

I seem to remember an on-line competition for which the prize was to spend a few days with the Vulcan groundcrew, and then get a front-seat ride in a Blades' 300 for a photo shoot.

My submission for the "Why I want to fly with the Blades" tie-breaker phrase was "Because I want to see if they manage to chew a few bits of each other. Again".

I suspect I might have p!ssed on my chips with that one.

Anyway, that was years ago. I understand there have been some significant changes to the line-up since then.

It was on the local news this evening - would love to share to airspace (OK a big old chuck o' airspace) with the Vulcan!

yes i was but couldnt hear the vulcan above the noise the blades were making, i hear the money they made from the pax was donated to cancer research,nice touch.
