I see the last couple of contributors to this thread have made a minor footnote in the news :ok:

Outrage at Spokespersons remarks.

Private Pilots on a well known website are outraged over remarks attributed to Cardiff Airport's Spokeswoman following a near fatal plunge of a Robin Reliant light aircraft.

One contributor from Holland worried that the Pratt & Witney engine from the aircraft had crash landed dangerously near to some sheep.

Yet another alleged that pilots who fly jumbo jets should stick to driving busses, and another was so concerned that he spilt his tea while reading the report.
PS Chaps - you might want to read the original report rather than Corsair's excellent spoof ;)

Corsair,

brilliant, but a big mistake. :)

Now all the journalists that read this forum have an already written article they can copy for the next minor flight incident ;)

exellent landing,they both walked away,what more can be said,can i have the skymap from the robin? lol:)

Ahh but Corsair forgot to mention that the horrifying death plunge occurred just a few hundred miles from the site of the Large Hadron Collider being switched on in Geneva, thus endangering not just the whole planet but the entire known universe. The death toll could have been infinite.....

Shame on you Corsair for missing this vital information!!!!!

:ok::ok:

I very concerned that sheep were endangered.

That should be reported to the BAA.

DeeCee 23rd Sep 2008 08:40

BAA, ha ha like it!

Maybe we should create an award for the most inaccurate article, with extra points for repeating the common phraseology i.e. Avoided School, Plummeted etc. I think that I will start a thread on this.
