Reasonably priced twin for MEP reval

hi everyone,

i'd like to reval my MEP rating in a couple of months time - does anyone know of a reasonably priced twin i could do it on? in the south of the country. i learned on a DA42, which was fantastic and i would recommend it, but would ideally like to fly something else just for a change..

thanks!

OL,

The Seneca 1 at Old Sarum is about as cheap as I've found thus far.

Yes Tony, the Old Sarum Seneca is one of the cheapest in the area and is a great training aircraft. It's away on a "long hire" for the next few weeks but has been temporarily replaced by a Duchess. I think the BE76 is going out at the same rate as the PA34, but give the office a call on 01722-322525 to check.

OL, depending on your experience level in complex aircraft it would probably be wise to budget for an hour or so in the BE76/PA34 before the test. FYI the test is normally charged at the solo rate plus £75 test fee.

Try BCFT at Bournemouth, they run quite a few Twin Stars and also a Duchesses or two. Don't know what they charge though.
