New group near Leeds

I'm looking at buying a share in a 2 seat permit aircraft, however as there is nothing local it has been suggested that I may want to consider setting up a group myself.

I've been told where I may be able to get some hanger space, however I just wanted to test the waters to see what the response may be if I was to look at this further. I certainly can't afford to buy and run something on my own so would need to be quite sure that I could sell shares to avoid having to sell the aircraft on very quickly.

I would be looking at a 2 seat Jodel or similar (possibly 2+2), so basing things on other groups of similar aircraft I have seen we are probably looking at a share cost of approx £3000 for a 1/6 share with monthlies of approx £45/50 and hourly wet rate of approx £35.

Hi Andy,

I have set up three groups over the years. The idea works, but you usually need to get the aircraft sat at the airfield before you sell the majority of the shares. Good luck, the Jodel is a very good aircraft.
