PA28 POH to download?

I am after a POH for the PA28 to download, just need a few bits of general info. I have searched the forums, but had no luck

This came up as the fourth hit on a Google search. Any good to you?

That will help, Thank you, but I'm after a few things which are specific to the PA28-161,I have tried to google it, but just end up with other info about the aircraft

I think I may have an old Cabair PA-28-161 POH at home (can't remember if I threw it out). I'll have a look tonight - what do you need to know?

I've got one for the PA28-161 Cadet (the trainer version of the Warrior) right here. What would you like to know?

Thanks for all the offers guys, I need quite a bit of info, so dont want to bore you with it all, and at the same time I just want to go through it all.

I have a POH, but its in the plane, but thought I might be able to get one easier online, than having to drive to the airfield to get it

I found a pdf scan of the POH of one of my clubs aircraft. PM me your e-mail address and I'll get it to you.

I found two on line recently when I was looking...

one here: http://home.stny.rr.com/bkw/ace/PA-28-181-POH.pdf

the other appears to have been pulled.

FFS,

The POH is part of the flight manual, and is aircraft-specific, not even model-specific.

It's astonishing how folk in this forum fail to grasp this. If you want to operate the aircraft 'correctly', you need the original document. :ooh:

coodem 2nd Jan 2008 19:23

thaank you all for the help. I am aware that the POH is specific to each aircraft and not just down to the model, the info Im after is generic and Im using it to brush up on rough figures and the more generic stuff. Its for the FI general test.

Our PA28 has had the thielert diesel engine, so most of our origanal POH has had supplements added to it, due to the extra weight, change of CoG, range and the addition of the fadec, so as Im not to used to flying conventional type, I thought it a good idea to brush up.

frontlefthamster 2nd Jan 2008 19:38

If I were doing your exam, I'd be certain to pick a couple of questions specific to that aircraft...

From CAP 396 - Registration, Certification and Maintenance of Aircraft (March 1995, now discontinued):

The Flight Manual as approved by the CAA Forms a part of the Certificate of Airworthiness...

Permit to fly aircraft require a Pilots Operating Handbook

Or put simply Certified aircraft have a Flight Manual, Uncertified aircraft have a POH
