G-AROK?

This will sound like a strange question, and that's because it is! :ok:

Does anyone have a colour photo (unlikely I know) or information on the colour scheme on this Cessna 310? This isn't really my area of expertise but strangely, it's come up during some research for an almost unrelated book and this is the only photo I've found.

Cheers.

I wonder how Robert Hodgson feels about his copyright photo being copied here?

Not too bad, I'd imagine. From the properties you'll see that the image hasn't been copied or saved elsewhere at all. The image is a direct link to the original source, so you are simply viewing his picture in its original location but in the absence of the surrounding web page. I've amended my previous post to include a link to that page. I'd suggest that what I've done comes under 'fair use' and shouldn't be a problem. In fact, if as a result of this post FoxTwo pays Robert Hodgson to use the picture commercially, I expect everyone will be happy, and as the facilitator I'll only charge 20% for the introduction.;):ok:

Haha, thanks chaps! I'm not going to be printing the piccies as it happens, it's going to be illustrated in colour...hence the b&w photo being a problem!

I'm very grateful for the input. Still slightly stuck though because neither picture shows that original scheme from the first photo! It's never simple is it?! :ugh:

Thanks for the help though...I'll have to keep looking! :ok:

Looks like April '63 is the key date. Cheers!

Does anyone have any information concerning the circumstances of this aeroplane's 'wheels up' landing at Manston on 11 March 1979?

On departure from Blackbushe to Guernsey, the nosewheel only partially retracted then jammed. Aircraft diverted to Manston to use foam carpet facility with main gear down and both props feathered before touchdown. Occupants uninjured and subsequent investigation found a heater duct had been incorrectly installed during maintenance, fouling the gear leg.
