Microlight in trouble near AMRAL
 

Morning folks.

Does anyone have infomation on a "MAYDAY" call made by a microlight around 0730 this morning, close to above location?

We heard several A/C relay to D & D what little info they had. That was basically along the lines they heard the call on guard, pilot stated "he was going down"!

Seach and rescue deployed in the Gloucestershire area, but found nothing up to us getting back on terra firma!

Fingers crossed all ends well!

Microlight Mayday 7/11 0730z
 

Picked up a Mayday call this morning of a very distressed sounding microlight pilot. Around manchester this morning at about 0730z. Unfortunately nobody could locate the exact position of this microlight, just wondered if anyone has heard anything.

Last thing he said was : " I'm going down "

Where's AMRAL?

Any ICOMs reported stolen in that area?

52 06 53N 002 54 3W. Up the English Welsh border.
Not certain that was where this happened, only this point was mentioned during the relay we heard, between the S&R aircraft!
