Seems like you're unduly limiting your customer base to me ;)

Mine works well in an ancient Auster :ok::ok:

Good enuff for occasional use ... anybody got one with a US landbase ?

When I got my 196 I put the US aeronautical data on my Pilot III for my occasional trips across the pond but it isn't as good without the geographical base.

Humm, not sure what I was thinking there....

Trust me my GPS doesn't mind which aircraft it's used in, old or new :-D

Limit to Capability

I've frequently used mine in airliners and FL 370 and 500 kts doesn't upset it.

I wonder if anybody ever took a Pilot III on Concorde ???

The only time mine ever stopped dead was on a Eurostar at 186 mph going through Lille.
