GA crash at Rochester 31/07/07
Only a rumour atm. Anybody have any news?
|
Rumour upped to 3 up in an Archer with full fuel and no flap landing on the right wing and snapping the wing off
No casualties and none dead |
|
Just up the road from me (I actually took my first lesson with Cabair at Rochester, but training with Weald Air Services at Headcorn now).
Glad to hear that nobody was hurt. |
:uhoh: Poor sods. Over-run on 34 I guess?
I flew into Rochester the day before and landed for the first time on 34. Quite hairy when you're still a student pilot. Overflew on my Skill Test on the day of the accident. Too embarassed about my near bust of their ATZ to look down...:ugh: |
Mikehotel152,
I would carefully consider my answer to the above question, sadly I fear that your name is similar to the aircraft you were in a the time!!!! X |
:=
No. Records will show that I did not fly until the afternoon on both days and on neither occasion was I in that aircraft or an aircraft with a similar sounding name. In any event I immediately apologised and the circuit was empty at the time. Sounds intriguing though. What happened? |
Glad to here no one hurt, I fly from Rochester,can any one PM me Pilots name and reg number ?
