Group owned aircraft flying for clubs
One of our club fleet is owned by a private individual who is contemplating selling due to high maintenance costs. I am investigating the various options for multiple ownership in order to keep the aircraft on the fleet - it's in regular use for PPL training and hire.
Does anyone have any experience with aircraft in group ownership, or part club/part individual ownership, which are then leased back to or in some other way operated by a club or school? I'm trying to find out the pros and cons of the different options from a legal and cost viewpoint. NS |
