Helicopter down in the north sea yesterday.
I just recieved this e-mail from my op's director:-
Dear All, On 21st November, an AJS Helicopter made a controlled emergency landing in the North Sea inside Dutch waters. The AJS Contract is a Joint venture with AMEC, STORK and Jacobs. The AJS Emergency Response was mobilised in full contact with the NAM (Shell) Emergency Response Room. Among the 17 helicopter passengers, 10 were AJS contractors. We are very pleased to tell you that all 17 individuals were safely rescued and are now recovering onshore. We are currently working to ensure that this incident is being fully investigated. It says a lot about how well they were equipped that they all got out alive.
A great result! |
