do you have a computer in the bath???:E

Footless Halls 9th Oct 2006 20:04

Well maybe 'Flash' does and maybe he doesn't, but I certainly do.

My (no advertising so no brandname) pda phone thingy is perfectly practical to read in the bath.

Apparently technical support quite frequently have calls from folks asking whether their pda can be recovered from immersion, although apparently the water they are immersed in is not always in the bath.

Am I missing something here, what is the point in this post?

Fair point. Humour has no place in aviation :} :p

Or were you talking about your own post? :D

(I wish Fate is the Hunter was waterproof - I've dropped it in the bath more times then I can count.)

Count yourself lucky you have a mag to drop in the bath! In my experience, their distribution folks are useless (though mail order seems to work OK). We always get the latest version at least a couple of weeks late at the flying school. Great publication but they need to sort that out.

Yes, this is a serious issue. It allows trainee ppls the opportunity to understand the density of air questions in their exams.
1. What volume of air is displaced by the total immersion of loop in a freshly filled bath?
2. Does the teperature of the bath water have any bearing on the absorbtion potential of Loop?
3. Can a rubber duck ever fly?
Answers ona postcard to the usual address!
Computer says NO! take a deep breath - life is too short!:)
