Sorry if you take this amiss, but lets wait and see what AAIB make of the incident. There may be other factors that made the crash happen than are in the BBC report, and, although I do monitor incidents/accidents to help me think about how I'd deal with situations, I'd rather wait until all the facts are known
Classic instance was the ditching of the C172 off Cornwall. Everyone thought carb icing (even AAIB) until they got the fuel state!!!!! So please, esp with fatals, don't jump to conclusions |

I was once instructed by a Texan, who had instructed on the USAF's Firefly, and whilst he enjoyed the aircraft, he had to retire from teaching on it because the seat position, the low canopy and the wearing of a parachute caused him back problems. regards TDD |
