PA46-350P

Anyone know the training requirements to fly Piper Mirage?

Found in Lasors that HPA is not required for the PA46 Malibu (piston) but it talks about differences training and type ratings in the same sentance. I understand it would be different for the Meridian 500TP.

Any clues?

Any help, much appreciated :ok:

There was a recent thread on here - about 2 months ago and HPA rating types were listed. Seem to recall that the turboprop requires the additional rating.

Without reference to the documents..

The PA46 Mailbu is in a group of its own in that it is a Class (Single Engined Piston) aircraft which requires a specific type rating to fly. As part of that type rating you will also cover the extra bits sometimes covered by differences traiing, such as pressurisation and variable pitch prop.

Any turbine-powered aircraft (like the Meridian) requires a type-specific type rating. This rating is entered on your licence and does not qualify you to fly any other turbine-powered aircraft.
