N reg
 
can someone attempt an explanation, of the N reg a/c here in the UK, I'm aware that N denotes a US registration, Does it allow for non CAA approved a/c's to be flown here ? how do they get C of A each year ? can they be flown by ppl jaa or only ppl faa ? Thanks

Hello, Yes a JAA pilot in the UK can fly an N-reg, and as I am being told by a UK pilot that flys one, he cannot go off island and day only. The inspection in not a C of A it is an Annual inspection and can be performed by if I rememebr right one of the 27 IA's in the country. The ICAO orders/regs are what allow it. and probably a few others like the CAA regs to.
