Fullerton is close, look on airnav.com. Rays Flying Club had a good reputation but a quick google search doesn't find it. Long Beach is also a good place to learn, don't bother with John Wayne Orange County, you spend too much time paying for standing on the taxiway.

Rainbow Air(FAA) and Angel City Flyers(FAA/JAA).
Both based in Long Beach, have used them both and great instructors!

Hart Aviation are also there with very good selection of aircraft (inc. new 182 with full glass cockpits!).

Hart is California Flight Center now....and a very good outfit. ACF & Rainbow at Long Beach are very good, ACF uses CFC's and Rainbows aircraft so you have a massive choice to choose from.....(The T182T's G1000 gets my vote ;) though probably not best to learn on).....

I like Sunrise aviation at Orange county/(also known as John Wayne). I get aerobatic training there regularly and they are a nice honest bunch of people. The airport is busy so you will learn how to fly into a busy airport. When I have had ground delays they have credited me with any wasted time.

Their website is www.sunrise-aviation.com

Have a good time

thanks a lot guys! I will go take a look and check them out!
Rays Flying Club may be closed down already! That's what I saw in another forum! May be Long Beach is a better idea now!
