The Christmas Hangar

The fantasy hangar series continues with a festive theme here.

You wake up on xmas morning and open the door to the hangar, there, with a nice bow around it is the plane of your dreams which is.........

(sorry, but I am seriously bored this afternoon..........)

EGBKFLYER 24th Nov 2005 14:13

AerBabe 24th Nov 2005 14:39

Well said! ;)

If I can also have the 'plane of my dreams... I'd have a Mustang too. Two seats, so I can take my Pet Technician along with me.

treadigraph 24th Nov 2005 14:42

Spitfire XIV with proper wingtips! And with the cockpit stuffed with cash to enable me to learn to fly and maintain it!

markflyer6580 24th Nov 2005 14:53

Mustang.(P51D)
Dakota (cargo fit for para dropping and the like)
TBM 700 C2.
Global express.(prob cheaper to operate than a mustang!)

In That order,but I'm not fussy!:ok:

bletchleytugie 24th Nov 2005 14:54

Can I hace a Chipmunk please

Monocock 24th Nov 2005 19:30

My dream is slightly different...

The hangar door whirrs open and there is a big silky bow tied neatly around Cat Deeley who is fast asleep on a chaise longue.

:E

markflyer6580 24th Nov 2005 19:32

The RAF selling tucanos???

Ah, I forgot that bit... Sitting in the pilot's seat of my Spitfire, completely naked and yet with her modesty intact thanks to all that cash, would be... Well, I haven't decided yet but there are still 24 shopping days, etc...:ok:

Mariner9 25th Nov 2005 08:11

Tucano details here (Link to Flyer website)

oliversarmy 25th Nov 2005 09:17

A Cirrus please please

Rocket2 25th Nov 2005 09:26

bletchleytugie

"Can I have a Chipmunk please"

Surely a Supermunk (with VP prop) cleared for aero's is better!
:D

rtl_flyer 25th Nov 2005 10:59

Mine would be a Beach Staggerwing.......

High Wing Drifter 25th Nov 2005 11:43

Mine would be a Beach Staggerwing.......
There's a rather fabulous example at Popham :ok:

Some people just don't get it, eh, bletchleytugie.

MAX

Confabulous 25th Nov 2005 13:38

Yup, ATG Javelin for me, with a big red bow!

Or, slightly cheaper, an MCR01 Ban-Bi with the (future) diesel mod

Dop 25th Nov 2005 15:43

Max, shouldn't that have gone in the Airfix thread?!!

Noah Zark. 25th Nov 2005 16:03

I'd be very happy with a two-seat Sea Fury (and sufficient wonga to fly and maintain it Ad Infinitum!)

ChampChump 25th Nov 2005 22:48

Doors on the hangar would be a start.....

AfricanEagle 26th Nov 2005 21:08

.... a simple, plain, beautiful little Piper Cub.

Wanting to exaggerate, painted yellow, with tundra wheels and an underbelly long range fuel tank.

aerobatic_dude 27th Nov 2005 02:13

In descending order: Javelin
Mustang
Extra 300L
Sukhoi SU-29
Lancair 400
Aviat Husky
T210R

That'll keep me happy :ok:

B Fraser 27th Nov 2005 08:38

A Mustang would be extremely cool however a Hunter would do nicely.

Herself wants a P-38 :ok:

Saab Dastard 27th Nov 2005 12:47

I'd ask Santa for the hangar... that I can rent out to all you lucky aircraft owners ;)

Then I could reserve some space for my B-25. I thought of a B-29, but I wouldn't want to be greedy!

Kolibear 28th Nov 2005 06:55

I'd be pleased to see any aeroplane with my name on it...:(

But it I had the choice,

Dear BRL/Santa.

Please may I have a D.H. Hornet . Yes, I know that there are none in existence, but I'm sure that your elves could knock one up in a few days.

Thanks,

K.

Though what would be nice is a fast, economical, easy to maintain Tucano type thing.

wbryce 28th Nov 2005 15:27

Extra 300 with a full tank of fuel and recently renewed c of a! :D

Mark 1 29th Nov 2005 12:13

Stop dreaming .... just go out and buy it.

That's what I did for my 50th birthday last year. Hardly stopped grinning since.

Sir George Cayley 1st Dec 2005 21:48

Sir George (I've bin good - honest) Cayley

Kolibear 5th Dec 2005 06:51

A Nimbus 2001 please.

ShyTorque 5th Dec 2005 08:14
