Help! Routing around today's London flypast
I aim to be taking off from Elstree at around 4:30 heading initially towards LAM and then towards Clacton.
I have looked at the NOTAMS for todays flypast and understand I will not be able to fly below 2000ft until passing well clear of LAM. Is this correct? Just need confirmation that my routing from ELSTREE direct to LAM @ 2,400ft will not set of any fireworks? If someone could confirm that for me I'd be a very happy man. |
Whilst unable to confirm that 2400 is OK..... My interpretation is that you can fly at 2100' - 2400'.
Speak later no doubt..... (Might be worth giving 122.8 a call!) |
Was a non event really. Was perfectly safe at 2,400 - could see all the heavies circling below me!
Was astonished to discover, how many, including a helipcopter pilot working for a very well known operator in the South East didn't see the NOTAM. |
