Aerojumble at Popham
Believe next week ends bank holiday - thought might fly in .... any problem with this ? PPR ? restricted nos ? etc ? anybody familiar with previous years that can help ?

No probs. It will be very busy and there will be a lot of microlights flying close in circuits so ensure eyes are well peeled. There is also likely to be twin runway operation with take-offs on one and landings on the other. You'll be marshalled after landing.
Don't count on finding anything exciting in the aerojumble though. |
As Mike says, very much see-and-be-seen, separation and positioning is entirely your own problem, RT has to be at a minimum, and there's a high-prob of slower traffic in front of you anywhere in the circuit.
Saturday and Sunday are the microlight trade fair (although there's a fair bit of aerojumble anyhow), the main aerojumble is on Monday together with a fly-in, classic car show, and anything else that Dick managed to get through the door. It's a fun day out, I'd recommend it regardless. G |
