If you have a copy of April "Flyer" mag to hand... take a look at page 17.

Behind the smoking Pitts with the dead stick is a town, but where in the world do we think it is?

From the shape of the apartment buildings I would guess perhaps Northern ( mainland) Europe somewhere? but is that a hint of Military base architecture in the foreground layout?

Surely somebody in Ppruneland knows....

(I'll scan the pic in later if I can work out how to do it)

The picture you are talking about is an illustration by Lynn Williams. Not sure of the location I'm afraid. I'll try and find out but it may take a while as I'm away for a while.
