Aircraft to hire?
 

Hi,

Im looking to hire a single engined aircraft in the south east, however I have had enough of the hassle assosiatedwith flying clubs. I would like to find a private owner or a small group where there is no 'share' cost to join. I am prepared to pay a monthly standing charge.

So basically are there any owners that would rent their aircraft out. Im only looking to fly a few hours a month, and im not fussed what type of aircraft.

I have 500 hrs CPL, IMC night etc. and work for ATC.

There are several quite reasonable machines for hire at Popham, details here. They are all, so far as I know, private machines being rented out within the club - Popham itself owns no flying machines (and has no flying school).

Cheers for that, they do seem to be the cheapest around so far.

Although I don't fly them (I've a couple of shares there) they also look to be much better looked after than your average club hack as well.
