BRL 15th Dec 2003 19:40

Is that it?. Who turned up? Any piccys etc..............

Tall_guy_in_a_152 15th Dec 2003 20:36

I was there:ok:

Another civilised event - at least until I left at about 19:30 and the curry expedition set off.

I had the camera out by the front door so that I wouldn't forget it. Then walked straight past it :O So no photos from me this time.

BRL - the complete attendance (for Private Flying records) in order of arrival was:

1. Keef (with strategically displayed 1:500 000 chart on the table for PPRuNe identification)
2. FFF
3. TG152
4. Penguina
5. IainPoll
6. Paulo

Apologies received from Whirly and BRL.

Thanks for all your good wishes, I'm happy to report that I passed :p :p :p

Don't think that I'm gonna suddenly come over all serious though !

Cheers.

Tall_guy_in_a_152 23rd Dec 2003 00:10

Well done! :ok: :)

Penguina 23rd Dec 2003 00:40

:D :) :ok:
...to Iain!

However, landing tonsillitis within 3 hours of departure very suspicious and if it ever happens again, will set Penguinetta on the lot of you.

You have been warned. ;)

TheKentishFledgling 23rd Dec 2003 02:18

Nice one Iain - well done!

When's the EGSG bash then? :)

Keef 23rd Dec 2003 08:18

BRILLIANT!

Well done, Iain! I reckon you are exceeding chuffed. Have a great Christmas - maybe we'll even see you flying?

In Altissimus 23rd Dec 2003 15:40

Well done Iain. You'll soon be keeping 'er indoors in the style to which she'd like to be accustomed... :ok:

Did someone mention a celebratory EGSG bash? :E

iainpoll 23rd Dec 2003 21:29

Thanks everyone.

Funny thing is, I've had to get my Trevor Thoms out to read, as I've forgotten all the useful stuff.

G-SXTY - In Altissimus, I'm well up for an EGSG drink, when do you fancy it?

Iain

singaporegirl 24th Dec 2003 01:35

Well done Iain. :ok:

(So do you now know the answer to the question 'Does God have an IMC?' :E )

Keef 24th Dec 2003 03:30

singaporegirl

I don't - go on, tell me...

singaporegirl 24th Dec 2003 17:15

Ah, Keef, shame on you for not knowing that, being a man of the cloth an' all.

The answer, of course, is that God has an IR. An FAA IR, naturally, because as we all know, God is American. ;)

Hope you get some time to put your feet up over the Christmas period. :O

paulo 24th Dec 2003 19:53

Excellent work sir - so even the Tokyo convention didn't trip you up :bored: :ok:
