Good Article in the Daily Mail
Although this article (Sat 18/10) was about private flying, I've posted here as this may also be of interest to the professionals.
Basically a very readable feature about the 'Swords' syndicates at North Weald and how they operate jet trainers (Strikemasters and Provosts.) No hysterics, just some telling points such as the difference between amateurs operating professionally and amateurish behaviour and the substantial amount of training required to operate in this synidcate. All in all, a very good piece of journalism that is very readable without being sensational and demonstrates how we are good neighbours. |
Have I missed something? Where is this article that you have posted? Perhaps you could copy it onto the forum.....

Somewhat off topic but isn't "Good Article in the Daily Mail " an oxymoron?

Damn, you beat me to it Firefly Bob!
|
Well Firefly Bob and Anti skid, the next time you're outraged by sensationalism, don't expect any sympathy from me :)
This article was good - sadly not on the mail website so I can't sut a link. |
Has the Mail even got a website?
|
I'd be shocked if they did, as apparently the internet is a haven for terrorists and pornographers.

Final 3 Greens, hey chill out man - no offence intended! Just my wicked sense of humour. I am sure this article was a good one!
