Cessna 172 rental in Portugal
Hello,
We will spend about 10 days at the end of the month in Portugal (Faro, Lisbon and Porto).
I am looking for an option to rent a Cessna 172 for a short flight that will combine sightseeing for my wife at the back sit as a passenger and an option for me to fly the plane (along with a local flight instructor of course since I have not flown in Portugal before and do not want to take an unnecessary risk)
I have EASA CPL(A) MEP/IR, SEP/IR

Portugal is not the UK Meseemeth that "Aeroclube Portugal" stands a better chance of success.
I checked the clubs at Espinho and at Coimbra, having visited both recently and found them friendly and open. Unfortunately neither operate a C172. If a PA28 will do, too, then Coimbra might well be the place to go. A magnificent historic city and a well maintained aerodrome with a nice typical restaurant.
