Landing fees in the UK: do you know about memberships and/or landing cards?

Hi,
I heard that there are some landing cards and memberships out there and, among other benefits, they include landing fees on a list of aerodromes around the country.
Do you know about any?

Yes - my home airfield offers a contract (landing card) for 480 per year. It applies to the named individual - not the aircraft - and has reciprocal rights with a list of 13 other airfields.

As the normal landing fee for me is usually 18 I would have to do at least 26 landings to show a saving but as it looks like I wouldn't achieve that this year I didn't renew.

The majority of UK airfields had a landing card scheme of some sort or another "back in the day", usually associated with the parking or hangarage charge for based aircraft. Unfortunately, they are slowly being modified or, in some cases, phased out completely. Usually replaced by charging for every full stop or touch and go. We have a hybrid system that is so complicated few understand it........

Not sure where you are situated but for a suggested donation of 30 per year, you can have unlimited landings at the lovely airstrip on Bute (details on request).

You used to get free landings at Perth if you were a member of the Scottish Aero Club but that offer is long gone.

Many GA airports in France do not charge any landing fee.
