Need to fly a puppy to Jersey
I did this many years ago when I lived in Jersey. The (now) ex decided she had to have a Bernese mountain dog and we picked it up in Land's End. We just asked someone at the Aero Club if they wanted to to fly us over if we paid for the gas. Perfectly legal.
Ironically, I found this quite useful and it prompted me to get my license.
The pilot was Chris Wench, Jersey aviation legend.
Good luck!

The EU country flag carrier I used to fly for allowed for small (can't remember how it was defined) cats and dogs to fly as "pets in cabin" with their (presumably) owners. Cats were always in a pet carrier; occasionally so were dogs but we carried a fair few dogs who were simply on a lead. This was in European shorthaul.

You don't need the dog, see i.e. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iO-HRqIVvic (sorry, only available in German, but a nice example of European BS). German NAA LBA goes Monty Python?

Thanks for the complement but not deserved. I might have retired commercially but still have a valid licence(after 58years!)

Yay, Welkyboy! Good to hear from you. Hope you and the other “Jersey Boys” are ok. Happy memories of flying with you all in the CJ and then a fine meal in the “Boathouse” afterwards.
Take care,
Eckhard

Young Lady once bought her cat via Easy to Liverpool back in the early 00's, from I think Paris, when she arrived the sh*t hit the fan. Her (reasonably acceptable in my opinion) excuse was that she was used to doing this around Europe, and didn't think the UK would be the exception (strict quarantine rules) and they were quite happy to let her board with catty. Oh how she threw a tantrum. This was filmed I think and shown on BBC? as part of some Easy documentary series.
Easyjet don't carry animals. Well, not the four legged variety, anyhoo.
(Guide dogs excepted)
