EASA PPL : theory and flight training in different country

Hello,

I am currently holding my medical in Poland and intend to do my Flight training for PPL in Spain.

From my understanding, I can choose the country I want to have my PPL issued from.
As my medical is in Poland I would like to have it issued from this authority.

In order to do so, I need to sit to the theory exam in Poland, then will be able to fly in Spain for flying part.

Would you know how to proceed in order to take the theory exam in another country?

Thanks a lot in advance.

In order to do so, I need to sit to the theory exam in Poland,
You can do the Theory in any EASA State, bear in mind however that each State sets its own exams so they will be different in each State as will the language. You need to contact either a DTO or ATO in that State and arrange to take the exams. The National Authority is required to publish a list of DTOs and ATOs. Make sure that on completion you have a Course Completion Certificated appropriately signed and authenticated.

Bear in mind also that some member states will not accept the exams obtained in certain other member states. Ireland, for example, didn't/doesn't accept UK PPL exams.

Hi. My name is Marvel.
I have the same situation where I'm struggling with the PPL Norwegian theory. That's why I've been looking for a valid EASA PPL theory courses and exams in english while doing my practical training at Værnes Aviation School.

It would be awesome and very helpful if you can share how you got your PPL theory and exams done.

Thank you in advance.

All the best,
Marvel Leonhardsen

The Irish Exams will probably be in English, why not try contacting an Irish ATO?

Fly In Spain offer the EASA exams in English. You can use them against NAA you wish to have the licence issued.
