Chris, For my three quid I got free coffee, sticky buns and biccies as well as a fascinating illustrated talk so I consider it good value. The venue is excellent and the CAC staff most helpful. They have an interesting programme of monthly talks through the winter.

She also emphasised that she was accompanied on her flights with another aircraft carrying the support crew and equipment.
Was there any explanation for the Herne Bay Vdeo comments about her solo flying?
Can we expect her Facebook page to show her actual, instead of falsified, honorary rank any time soon?

Also , if TC-T has seen the light and is now doing positive work for younger and more impressionable people and doing it with a straight bat , then that's also impressive .
It does though ,need to be borne in mind that the internet campaign surrounding her past activities only gathered pace for one reason and not the popularised version of the 'baying wolves gratuitously sniffing for blood' , but rather because intelligent and professional people with impressive aviation backgrounds were awaiting explanations.
An input from Sam may also be interesting too , because without the 'internet hate campaign' , then his reputable business may also have suffered irreparable damage.
If the person in question is indeed showing a little contrition , then that can only be good. Not only for her causes , but also for her.

The Bird in a Biplane's Strategy has been very clear to me for some time...and she has followed it precisely.

Her plan/strategy is also becoming clear as is the fact that she still has sufficient funds to continue.
I expect a lowish profile solo completion of the journey, with a ton of stills and footage of her on her Jack Jones in said kite.
Then a carefully repackaged/re-edited film (which appears still at the production stage) during which the whole PPRuNe saga will be presented (as opposed to hidden/denied) with us lot as very much the bad guys who went nuts over some mis-managed press releases.
As we all should know by now, we live in a world where fake news rules if you have the fund and means to make it so.

Barry is absolutely right to call time on this thread, in my opinion. It is starting to tell us less about TCT and more about those who insist on keeping the thread going.

If you are suggesting that Barry is an apologist for TCT, then I think that is most unfair. He was instrumental in organising the campaign to have her LAA award rescinded (the only one rescinded as far as I am aware) and he also brought this saga to the attention of myself and, I suspect, many others.
If you, and others, wish to pursue this campaign, could I suggest (as I did much earlier) that you concentrate on those organisations and individuals who have NOT rescinded her awards, despite ample evidence that her exploits were misrepresented.

Well, that's almost true . There certainly has been many thousands of words written on here and elsewhere and the PPRuNers have certainly had their say. What is really needed to put a lid on all this though , is a simple statement/acknowledgement from Tracey to the effect that maybe regrettable mistakes were made .......etc etc.
I don't think it's so much of a "twisting of the knife" , from the contributors here ,but maybe just the frustration showing through that everything that has required an answer has been completely stonewalled.
Nobody could put this thread to bed quicker than Tracey herself .
