Prestwick passenger drop off for CAT flight
Dropping a passenger off to catch a Ryanair flight from Prestwick to Barcelona, what is the best place to ask ground to park up at so my passenger can get out of the field and back into the commercial departures terminal without having to lug his suitcase half way round Ayrshire ?

Apron G is the nearest but still at least a 10 to15 minute walk, that's where the GA a/c that use the Handling Agent park usually so not sure they'd be keen on you parking and just dropping off there, next nearest apron is the Flying Clubs apron (Apron P) but you'd need a member (if there are any about) to let you through the gate and then the Clubhouse, even further away is the Flight Centre on Apron E and there's usually someone there 9-5 but unless you phone a taxi or cadge a lift it's a good 25 min walk.

Indeed - Flight Centre and taxi, however might be worth asking the Flight Centre in advance for advice as there is a security gate a bit of a walk which the taxi would need to work out how to get through. There will be a regular pattern.
If you're not a member - we at the club wont be able to do anything for you. The handling agents on Golf have been very helpful when I've chatted to them (I'm a club member) and since they are now part of the airport, might be able to run you round - so don't rule them out.

A taxi will be able to pick you up from the Flight Centre on Apron Echo without difficulty. There is a security gate with a phone that the taxi driver can use to call through to the FC who will open the security gate to let them in.

I've often been curious about this but never asked before. I'm learning at the flight centre at the moment and quite often fly out of EGPK on Ryanair.
I find controllers and staff at Prestwick to be some of the most helpful, friendly and accommodating people. So i've wondered before if it's possible for me to leave my car at PFC and see if a cheeky call to ops would give me a lift to the terminal. Not even sure that's possible though!
Anyway, chances are if someone with a car is hanging around at PFC, they'll probably give you a lift to the terminal.
