FAA IR to EASA IR
Can anyone recommend an ATO within reasonable reach of London to help with adding an EASA IR to an existing EASA PPL(A) (with a current EASA IR(R))? Single engine only and via the competency based route (I already hold an FAA IR (and CFII) on a standalone FAA CPL).
Ideally looking for somewhere with a relaxed and personal atmosphere (not a factory) that can tailor training to take account of my specific experience and currency (there are various areas I'd like to revise and refresh).

Stapleford?
Stapleford Flight Centre are a small "factory" but have a few good part-time instructors who can teach IR and are willing to work around a student's schedule. I did my PPL(A) and IR(R) there, started CB-IR but had to pause for family reasons, completed CB-IR last September elsewhere.
They were one of the first to have the CB-IR approval so could in theory accept you for a FAA-to-EASA CB-IR-based conversion. Not sure if you'd need that but being a factory they have sims; the MCC one is not as frequently used as others and individual sessions could easily be booked I presume.
PM me if you wish and I'll gladly put you in touch with my IR instructor from there.
