Looking for a twin in the South East of England?

I'm looking for hire or non-equity group arrangement of a twin in the South of England for trips in Europe from time to time...

Ideally located at an airport with instrument approaches, Bournemouth is about as far west as it could be and Shoreham about as far east except that London area fields like Biggin Hill and Fairoaks would also be convenient.

I know of a DA42 at North Weald I think and I would sometimes use a twin at Thruxton. Anyone know of any others?

With your spread of locations you either love driving vast distances, or you have a helicopter

You can rent a DA42 at Shoreham.

Trips to Europe are always tricky if renting because of limited hour-billing opportunities. Most owners don't like anything much beyond day trips.

Partenavia 68

Bournemouth Flying Club have a P68 with excellent availability and they won't mind you taking it away for longer European trips.

We have a nice clean Seneca 11 at Fairoaks which is currently out of ARC and I'm wondering if it would hire out for private use if we to restore it to flight. Is there much of a market for twin private hire at all?

I'm not sure whether I would describe myself as a market but I would probably use a twin at Fairoaks three or so times a month if one were available.

I'm looking for the same in the midlands area but they are very difficult to find!

The twins I have found are very pricey.

If anyone does know of a reasonable aircraft in the midlands pm me.

Who has the Seneca? I don't really know Blackbushe but checking the website I couldn't find any reference to a twin.

Redair had a PA34 at Blackbushe. It maybe currently based at their other base in Shoreham. Maybe a call will clarify.

Does anyone know of any owners that don't fly them too regularly and would be willing to increase their usage by renting them out? It seems to me to be the only viable way of flying one for a reasonable price!

Something less than 300/hr would be a start, but I'm starting to think it won't happen!
