I hope no one is offended by my posting my own e-book here ... but the support and laughter of PPRuNe readers had a lot to do with my finally working through my essays and publishing them as a stand-alone book.

I'm describing it as a tongue-in-cheek memoir. To be honest, it isn't aimed at you all - I tried really hard to make it enjoyable to people without an ounce of aviation interest. If I got something wrong, just tell me. It wouldn't be the first time.

After four solid days of flying with a Yak instructor from the former soviet union. He said " You fly like a woman, just NOT a russian one). Not sure he was making a compliment?

Glad this thread was reinstated, Sylvia kindly sent me a copy yesterday which brightened up an otherwise dull afternoon at work.
Very well written account and truly captures many of the feelings experienced whilst learning to fly. Great read

Guys and gurlz, there is no point in posting here with "Can I have one too please, in ePub format?" because there is no way to send a PDF etc to anybody on p p r u n e . You need to email or PM the author with your email address.
