This is of forum interest concerning his prosecution and imminent court appearance. Apologies for comments in the last thread but to some of us here it is still a raw subject as well as how we were treated back then!
no more funny comments (promise)

More likely they don't want to be accused of having an effect on the prosecution to his advantage.
It was the same with the other posters who fell foul of the law, everything was removed until after the court case was finished and then you could say what you liked. Its so they can't get off on a technicality.

The thread was removed at my request because the police asked me not to post myself in order to avoid a "trial by internet" which could prejudice the case.
Cannot say who the post was from but fully expect a published outcome of the court case very soon.

I fully understand the Sub Judice thing but once again we have moderating without moderation.
A note to explain why a post has been removed would not take all day to do, and failing to offer any kind of explanation just makes it all look very fishy.
Reasonable as it is to remove the topic that GtE started this morning, although he was only posting what was placed in the public domain by the courts, the fact that it was "quietly" binned makes it look a bit seedy.
