No Bearde Woman,

All this talk of investigations......who cares who wins? Let's be honest folks, the lowest hourly rate with a landing card will win! At the end of the day it's about being up in the sky for your average club pilot. Most club members just turn up , fly, go home.

What a bunch of stirrers!

Despite people trying to move on from the original slagging match, it's incredible to watch the likes of Squawk & Van Horck attempts to draw others back into a hostile debate with their various 'sleight of hand' insinuation. What you hoping for, somebody to say something libelous so you can pounce?

So Van Horck - let me ask you straight.

1) Whow are you?
2) What's the real interest you have in HFS?

Or

If all you wish to do is prod and poke at others, here's my advice to other bemused PPRUNES - exercise your personal rights of censorship and add VAN HORCK et al to your 'ignore' list. You are in last chance salon with me............unless you have anything of value to add?

Stirring quite often brings the crap to the surface, you know the old saying "s**t floats".

I think your being a bit hard on them zipper, I might not agree with certain posts but then thats part of what the forums about. The tone of this thread is far calmer than the previous one and there are some underlying issues that posters may be curious about. How they go about seeking answers is up to them, its a public forum. Its up to the individual how they respond.
Some may say, if you dont like what you read then dont log on, I on the other hand think more the merrier.

Im pro HFS on this one but more than willing to hear all views, at the end of the day it is the flying we are about and unfortunately that sometimes involves people that get our backs up. Its all forgotten though once the prop gets going.

Hey Zipper,

I think you need to take a chill pill mate If you read my only other post on this thread you will see that it is far from " slight of hand", in fact it is quite transparent. As for my last post....I said people will go where the flying is cheapest....don't you agree?

Just came back from a day away from the PC (a relief).

Sorry to hear Zipper that you took offence at my posts. Seems to me I was pretty gentle in my wordings, if not i am truly sorry.

I took offence at no bearde woman's extreme sarcasm and did not post prior to that. She was away for a week or so, perhaps because he/she got banned, so i was not the only one taking offence apparently.

Both the school and the club have full right to existence in my view, I also feel whatever legal wrong doings are found should be prosecuted and dealt with in a proportional way (a punishment that fits the crime).

Finally I have never understood from this thread why a committee would give 3 days notice to a school (the club's plane supplier!) which had already decided to leave within a month without consultation of the members (the pilots using the planes) on an AGM which was due to take place within 2 weeks.

So Zipper, maybe my English isn't as good as yours (bl**dy foreigner....) and this is why you took offence to postings. Sorry again.

Both supporters of the club's committee as well as supporters of the school choose to fight a battle on a public forum, don't blame your audience for wanting more.

I would appreciate your comments on my remaining question above on why the AGM was thought not to be the correct platform for this crucial decision. I AM aware that legally the committee did not need the approval of the AGM, so this needs no further clarification, only the reason why they decided against taking to the AGM for a possible broad consensus prior to the notification

Van Horck & Squawk

Van Horck - if all you want to know is why the committee took the decision then why not ask the directly? Contact details are readily available.

And no offence taken at all.

Thankyou

Mr George Zipper.

Mr Zipper - yet another 5 post wonder! This thread really is bringing out the cowards who are too scared to be identified so hide behind new names. Who are you?

George

This is a public forum. I did not start the discussion about the separation between club and school. Supporters of both camps did, and did so most publicly and to the detriment of both organisations.

My interest goes no further than pass-time. I have no contact with either the club or the school and have no intention to contact either.

For all I know you could be No Bearde Woman's wife or husband or himself/herself.

Your tone is not doing the organisation you are trying to support any good especially your previous post towards another thread poster.

If you do not wish to contribute factually about my question, that's fine. Just don't get a heart attack, it makes for bad flying.

Glad you took no offence. Thx mate

Silverknapper - 7 actually - my first post was deleted with the original thread. But to give you an idea of the contents it was along the lines of how wrong I felt it for ANY party to be the victim of malicious smear/spin on pprune & youtube.

So this should be 8 posts now, is that okay with you?

I wouldn`t worry too much about that Van, if we were to take offence at bad English and bad grammar some of us would never be welcome here.
Your English is far better than our Dutch would be.

Just curious Zipper, did I hear you on frequency a week or so back heading over Dornoch way?

If that was you, hows the surface there at the moment?

No comment is comment too.

My name is van Horck, I live in Holland and I have nothing to hide.
Others are more secretive. Shame, i guess if all on this thread knew who the others were, we d have sorted this a long time ago

zipper,

I would never reveal your true identity to anyone, its just not the done thing and is probably against the conditions of PPRUNE (though Im not sure).
I have nothing to hide though prefer to remain anon for privacy reasons.

PM me if you like and tell me the condition if you know it, this info does not reveal anything about you, only that you know the info. I am heading up to snecky for a funeral at the weekend and thought Id squeeze a quick flight in.
In fact do any of you locals know how the grass at Dornoch is at the moment.

If it was good then I am sure it will still be ok this weekend, weathers not been too bad since. I might nip over if I can get time for a flight.
Least I`ll do is swing by for a coffee.
Got the pm, cheers.

Tuscan,
just wondering the last time you paid cash at Inverness for fuel?

They dont take Cash, maestro,American express anymore and not for a long time,I've tried!

Bp fuel cards are Tops for speedy service and discount.
They do take Visa and mastercard too.

HB

Oh No sign of any new aircraft at EGPE for anyone.
