I did a search on this thread and haven't found any reference to this fly-in. It is a bit away from UK but not from me...

If anyone is up at Oban, could you have a word with Paul and see if that date is ok?

I have just had a chat with Paul at Oban.

Due to the work going on there and the limited space, it will not be possible to fly-in untill the main runway is opened in September.

19th August is the date, we need an aternative airfield up that way. Over to you.........

19th August is a Saturday, so its unlikely I'll be able to to get an aircraft for such a trip.

However, an alternative airfield in the general vicinity of SW Scotland might be Islay. Went there recently, very welcoming. Excellent brewery on the island, too, for overnight considerations.
