Woodchurch "Wings and Things"
To all those who didn't get there "You missed a great day out"
To all those who had anything to do with organising it "Thank you for a day which far exceeded my expectations. I especially enjoyed the bit when over a hundred pilots and passengers tried to get into a minibus to get back to their planes".
To the guy who decided to do a left hand circuit when everyone else was doing right hand and cut me up as I turned final "I forgive you, I'm sure your license is due for revalidation soon"

The Honda Dream Team blew my socks off as usual, it was nice seeing the turbulent display team in action from the Tiger Club, three regular every day PPL holders putting on a good show
Only complaint, the burger stand ran out of onions by 1pm

...A marvellous day, brightened up for us locals by the sight of a Cessna 172 trying to land several times on the nosewheel only.....I wonder when it's going to fail

Perfect weather, excellent displays, good tea, priceless. For everything else and Avgas, there's plastic.
Thank you again to anyone reading this who helped to organise the day. (Perhaps FFF could become a series of more regional events more along these lines, albeit with appropriate mods. At least then it wouldn't all depend on weather).
I was frustrated only by being beaten to the transmit switch at 10.00 and therefore wasn't quite the first arrival....
Superlatives apply all round apply to this happy memory.
