Significant Changes To The Ais Website

In response to demands from the GA Community and following a recommendation from the CAA, a significant change is due to take place to all pre-flight information bulletin (PIB) produced by the AIS web site. This will include the NOTAM code Q Line appearing as the first line of each PIB entry

This change will take place during autumn 2005.

For further informamation go to www.ais.org.uk and follow the link.

That's good news - especially after so many people (including lots on this website) have been asking for it.

The natural question would be whether anyone is planning on producing or modifying software to use the Q-code, or whether all the suppliers of third-party software have already found other ways around the problem (e.g. using other sources like AvBrief, as NotamPlot currently does)?
