This thread is for people who are going flying, and have a spare seat, that they are willing to share.

I suggest including the following details in your post.

1. Where you are flying from.
2. Date & time
3. Who you are willing to take. eg. non-flying child, non-flying adult, student pilot, low hour pilot, high hour pilot, pilot with specific experience that you hope to learn from.
4. Costs. Is the seat free, or do you expect the passenger to pay the landing fee, buy lunch, or share all costs.

As for me I'm in the process of getting my PPL and I live in Durham, anyone who has a available seat cheek or better still free please PM.

Young Glider Pilot looking for more power!

Hi All

I'm pretty new here but

I'm currently in my teens and studying for my NPPL (SLMG) at EGHL most weekends with the Youth Gliding group flying the Red K13's. (It's well worth a trip to Lasham if you haven't been there yet!)

Would be lovely if there are any spare seats on any flights going round! Happy to split costs and happy to leave from anywhere in the Surrey/Hampshire and Borders area.

A friend is going over to the states in the Summer to complete his PPL (having flown 20 hours on PA38s) and would quite like to experience a C152 and C172 as that's the choice when he's out there.

I was out in NY 10 years or so ago and had a couple of 'flying lessons' out of Essex County, New Jersey. We flew around Manhattan etc and returned via the overhead at Newark, very enjoyable. Buses I believe run from Manhattan to the main road near Essex County airport. Hope this helps.

Yes. Newly revalidated PPL flying from Cambridge with CAC. I'm also starting to train for the IMC, so would be happy to assist IMC or IR qualified P1 with nav, radios etc. to gain experience.

Actually, on reflection, I'm happy to consider sharing flying costs with anyone in the Beds, Herts, Cambs area. My wife is sick of hearing me talking about aviation (!), so it would be nice to make a few flying buddies locally. I'm located a couple of miles from Old Warden.
