Hi Monocock

Greetings from Carmarthen in South Wales! I'm afraid that I am not a young, nubile female student pilot but a 62 year male who has a general interest in aviation. Actually, I am 62 today! I spent 37 years of my life in the RAF as an Aircraft Fitter Weapons. I retired in 2004 with the rank of Warrant Officer. Spent many years on bomb disposal and saw action in Northern Ireland, Falklands, Gulf war 1. I got married for the first time at age 57 to Theresa who is a psychologist.

I obtained my PPL (Hot Air Baloon) in 1987 when attached to the Australian RAF. Did a lot of flying (or is it 'floating') there and took part in the 1988 Australian Bi-centennial across Australia Hot Air Balloon race. I came 43rd out of a field of 88..... quite respectable I suppose. A claim to fame is that I flew in Antarctica! (intentionally I hasten to add.... I didn't get lost!).

Had to give up my PPL in 1998 due to health issues.

I too enjoy good conversation. I am one of the old school I'm afraid.... 'hang em and flog em!' I vote conservative, am a royalist, am passionately British ( I stand for the National Anthem whenever it is played!) and listren to radio 4. I try to model myself on Basil Fawlty so that says it all!

I wouldn.t mind coming along on a trip with you when it suits. Just a 'jolly' really. Hope to hear from you.

Regards

Peter

CPL ME IR Pilot avaliable

Hi all,

If anyone would like a CPL ME/IR pilot to join them on a flight i would be more than happy.

Can take the stress of air traffic, flight planning and navigation away.

Local to Central South coast of UK, but will travel if an interesting flight comes up.

Cheers,

Rougueg

Hi there,

I'm not asking for a jumpseat as such, however, I hope you will allow me post still.

I live in surrey, nearest airfeilds are Biggin Hill, Redhill Aerodrome and Kenley Aerodrome (Gliding), I also study at the university of Chichester nearest airfields being Goodwood, Shoreham and lee on solent.

I am keen to volunteer/ help out in return for knowledge and experience basically. I've got a small amout of air time in military aircraft as I was in the ATC for 5 years achieving the rank of Flight Sergeant, so I'm not new to the industry. Being a student activities are hard to fund.

So, if anyone is nearby me and could use a little help around the hangar, drop a PM or so

Thanks

Hi, I have a JAA CPL/multi IR. As well as flying a syndicate Cessna 150 I enjoy flying shotgun with other pilots. North Midlands based. Anyone wanting some ballast in the R.H.S. feel free to contact me. You're also welcome to fly with me. Watch those pies though.....

Hello,

I'm in my early thirties, good sense of humour and I love dogs and walks in the countryside. Err, wrong forum?

Seriously though, my day job is flying a Boeing around Europe but I'm keen to get back into GA, so I'm more than happy to act as ballast for any East Anglian flying.

Tail dragger time wanted, Midlands

Hi

I'm after some tail dragger experience to get the feel of it before going and doing formal differences training. Anyone with a suitable aircraft mind taking me up for a few trips / circuits?

Happy to pay costs and / or take you up in a Eurostar or CTSW for some trips. I have ~ 300 hours P1.

I am in Northamtonshire, Sywell, happy to travel for about an hour or so - so anywhere inside a circle of say - Leicester, Fenland, Cambridge, Panshanger, Turweston, Welllesbourne, Coventry?

Thanks very much
Kev

Hi Guys!

I'm new here, but this is a great idea!

If anyone is planning any trips from between London and Brighton (Shoreham Airport maybe?) I'd be more than happy to share hours/costs etc

Thanks,

Adam
