Flying in Portugal
I am a low hours PPL, who spends some time in Spain/Portugal. On my last two trips, I have hired an aircraft from Portimao, once with an Instructor, and last time by myself. I flew along the Algarve, just over the border into Spain, and then back again. I will be in Portugal from 7th to 21st August, and hope to hire the aircraft again, perhaps for a flight to La Juliana (just outside Seville)for a landing, and back this time. If anyone is interested in joining me, drop me a PM.

Almost finished PPL course and was wondering if there was any spare seats available in the South East, Stapleford, Southend, Clacton etc. would be happy to contribute towards fuel and/or lunch.

Return flight to Guernsey on Monday from bath/Bristol area, currently got 4 spare seats if anyone needs a lift or is just interested in coming for the ride, contribution towards fuel appreciated.

Back in the Air
52 years Young who nearly got his License a few years back and ran out of cash for the NFT and GFT is now awaiting a letter from the CAA to see what he needs to do to get his PPL done. Over a 1000 hours plus as a professional gliding instructor I would love to see if how much I have forgotten or not and maybe get a few hours in the air before I sign up for my local School at Booker.
Free every Tuesday – Saturday as retired and got loads of time to get my backside back in the air again.
Thought it may make sense to see if any one wants to have company on ANY sort of trip anywhere.
VERY passionate about Flying and have missed it so much over the years cant wait to get airborne again.
Thanks to all on the Forums who have helped make me make my mind up to get airborne again and for all the constructive advice I have received so far.

Spare seat to Le Touquet?
Hello all
I'm a new PPL and planning my first flight to Le Touquet at the end of the summer.
If anyone is going over July/early August from an airfield near London and has a spare seat pls PM me. I'll feel much more confident if i've seen it done at least once!

I think this spare seat idea is brilliant. I cant wait until i have my ppl, probably a long way away yet as lessons are expensive and unfortunatly i dont know anybody wealthy, haha

Lapsed (March this year) PPL + TMG in East Anglia. Off on odd days here and there and would love a flight or two with someone before formally getting current again at the end of the year / early new year. I have a Falke motorglider currently being worked on before transition to an EASA CofA so will happily reciprocate when it's airworthy.

Newly qualified PPL just completed check ride at Stapleford today to commence hour building there in a C152. Will be doing 3-4 one hour flights a week from the 8th August till the end of the month. £10/hour contribution and some interesting conversation is all I ask just PM me and hopefully we can make the most of this fabulous British Summer

Robinson R22 or R44 spare seats????
Hi All I might be in the wrong place for this so dont shoot!
Im in the Southampton area and looking for some extra time in the R22 or R44 if anyone has any much appreciated Im looking at self hire to so if anyone has one kicking around let me know.
I did fly fixed wings before but got bitten by the rotor bug!

Hi there,
I fly from Stapleford while studying towards my PPL; tend to be on Tuesday's and Saturdays... I'd be happy to give it a go and see if i fit in a c152 (6'7" so maybe not)

LAA rally - any spare seats on the sunday...
Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone was flying into the LAA rally on the Sunday - I will be in Edinburgh Sunday morning and was looking at any combination of transport (train, commercials,etc) I could use to get there.... I'd be interested in anyone flying from Scotland early on the Sunday morning, or anyone flying from Luton, Gatwick or somewhere I could get to from Scotland (maybe a short train ride away).
Have to be up there for girlfriend's sister's wedding on the Sat night - would just be one way as I live in London.

flying in Alsace... Froggyland from above
Interested in flying.. I do fly in Habsheim, Alsace, France, mostly on PA18 and PA 19 also called the Piper Cub, but also on C172. If you would be interested on cost sharing basis... Very nice place, 4500 ft mountains called the Vosges in the area (Mountain flight with no danger). In Alsace, as everywhere in France, (not everything is bad here) you can have very good food, good white wine... after the flight of course.

RH seat in a twin
Hello all
I have a PPL (A) with night privileges, I am hoping that there is someone in the East midland who would be willing to let me sit in the right hand seat to get a feel of twins, I still have 84hours to run off to complete my 150 hours prior to starting any commercial licence, CAT 1 med permitting.
I’m a 46 yr old teacher looking for a career change after surviving cancer, so would like to see what it’s like in a twin to see if I can hack it first.
I currently fly from the Merlin flying club in Hucknall but trained at Netherthorpe so I’m use to short runways.

I am Italian and I have a ppl complex. I am coming to London 8-29 August 2011 and I will be available mostly during the week (or the full weekend of the 27-28 August).
I can offer to share the cost of the plane (please tell me that we share the piloting as well), some decent conversation, possibly a cofee when we touch down!
I would also welcome information about airfield around London (any but reacheable via public transport) where I may be able to self-hire myself an aeroplane.
