I am based in the south east, on the coast, and am looking for a passenger who has a PPL and who is happy to ride in the back seat.
The rather bizzare reason for this is that I have a very capable young son who likes to fly the aeroplane, who is seriously good at it, who is perfectly capable of landing it, but my ex wife (who has legal custody and likes being difficult) demands that another "qualified" pilot is present.
I have an FAA CPL/IR, FAA Class 1 medical, over 700 hours TT and 500hrs on the type, a fully airways equipped 2002-year TB20GT. I am not an instructor but let him take the controls - all perfectly legal.
We will do anything, from little local flights to more proper planned trips, including going abroad, both VFR and airways.
No cost contribution at all is sought. You just need a PPL. You should also be reasonably "compact" - the TB20 has ample room but so many people are just too big.
Most of my flying is done weekdays; in the summer school holidays anyway. Weekends are more difficult.
If interested, please PM or email me.

I'm based in the Brisbane, Australia area, and looking for pilots / pax to share costs in a 172. Flying out of Caboolture, training through ADFA. Particularly interested in doing a trip to Alice Springs in late August. Heard its nice country out there.

I'm currently in the UK for the next two weeks (till 7th). Whilst I am busy doing this and that, I am pretty flexible with my time, so if anyone needs 100kg of RHS company to go flying, I'm happy to cost-share at 152-172-PA-28 type hourly rates. I'm based in NN1 and have a JAR-PPL(A) but very un-current. Last flew PIC in a C172 at Jandakot (West Aus) in January.
Cheers, Andrew
PS: I know the weather's a bit ****e, but I'll keep my fingers crossed.
PPS: If anyone offers a spare seat in an RV, I will bite your hand off!

Pilot in the back seat
I get similar grief from my wife, we can all fly as a family but i can't take one child alone!! Strange!
Anyway, I am a pilot (Warrior, British Airways Flying club) and a teacher, hence long holidays. I would happily drive down to Shoreham? for a free day trip to France. Tell your wife that I am fully qualified although I am not very good at taking over from the back seat!
E mail me please [email protected]

Hi all,
I'm a 27 yr old wannabee who's looking for more time in the air before beginning a course.
Based in Leeds but happy to drive to local airports within a reasonable distance (Sheffield, Manc, Hull etc.).
Anyone up for sharing costs while building hours?
Regards,
L A
