Game of war pop up

A few weeks ago I started getting Game of War pop ups whilst using Pprune on my iPhone. I saw and replied to a post on here then, and shortly after it stopped happening, perhaps the Pprune tech team sorted it.

Well, it's started again this last 24 hours.

Anybody else!??

That was me and it hasn't stopped being a problem. Hopefully, someone from ppprune will investigate as it will be losing them revenue.

We're aware of it and trying top block it. Unfortunately it's only on mobile and only in the UK so it's very difficult.

Happening to me too on Safari for iOS but not Chrome for iOS.

It is coming from the adverts feeds on the page - it's probably an unscrupulous advertiser - and the best solution is to switch to a better-vetted advertising service.

Is the forum using Google Ads?
