PPrune has very little to do with the ads - they're provided via the company that owns PPRuNe (and many other similar boards) and runs the servers
Even they don't really control the ads - it's all done by algorithms and is related to the cookies they put on your machine.
Click on an ad you wouldn't normally use - say skin care - and see how many weeks it is before skin care and related ads disappear from your page.... its about 6-8 in my experience.......
