I used the iPhone app for a few years. The latest update of iOS to 8.1 seems to have broken it. The app starts, but its not responding to toches of any kind :/

Surely for iPad you can just use the iPhone version. From memory it will just scale the graphics ?

As for iOS 8.1, well, that's for the coders to sort out, they need to update the software to point to the new developer APIs. Not difficult, but someone has to do it and recompile the software.

From IB admin:

At this time, the PP app is unsupported and there is no plan to bring it into spec with iOS 8. At some point IB hope to have a mobile skin that will replace the app, but right now the best solution is to use the full site on a mobile browser (unless you are remaining on a version of iOS that still works with the app).

I believe the latest incarnation of the iPhone PPRuNe App (version 1.2) is now also INOP on IOS 9. It still worked on iOS 8.4 for me, since the upgrade to IOS 9 and iPhone 6S it crashes on open...

It is still available to download from Google Play, but I and many other users are unable to use it.

Please either get it working, or remove it from the store, the current situation is Unprofessional for the Professional pilots forum !
