Etihad Airways Upgrade
 

I purchased a return ticket online with Etihad from Dublin to Sydney in Economy. I am currently in Australia. Something has come up in work which requires me to be in work on the day I land in Dublin. I want to upgrade to business class so that I am nicely rested on my return. I don't have sufficient miles to upgrade so it is going to have to be a cash upgrade. Do I just ring up Etihad Reservations and get them to upgrade the ticket or is there another process to follow? Will they just charge for Sydney to Dublin or is it a complete round trip they will charge for?

Why not call them, explain your situation and get the answers you want directly from the airline's reservations dept? Life can be so simple really.

have you thought it might be cheaper to just change your ticket to return back a day or 2 earlier in economy, thus giving you a chance to rest in DUB before you go to work.

Have you thought.......wel....lets just leave it at that......

ring them - surprisingly - they probably know the answer better tahn anyone on a pilots forum......!!!
